Canine Good Citizen
Your Dog Can Be A Canine Good Citizen! Canine Good Citizen (CGC) is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. Tara McLaughlin, CPDT, CDBC, is an AKC Approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and can help you and your dog achieve your CGC award with her specialized training program. CGC training is also recommended for those pursuing Therapy Dog work. Being a responsible pet owner means that not only will you provide a loving relationship and home for your dog, but that you will also teach your dog to be well-mannered. Teaching your dog basic obedience improves your relationship with your dog by helping you both be able to communicate more effectively with each other.
